Completion of the course takes place at the end of each semester, during the overview of all students’ works. Students are made to defend their works. Basic criteria of evaluation are: attitude to the subject (commitment, creativity, honesty and morality); progress made during the evaluated period; artistic value of the works.

Individual projects based on multimedia drawing (artistic skills within drawing, painting, illustration, digital techniques, 3D area). Instructive targets: Artistic skills sufficient enough for individual creating and accomplishing artistic projects. Individual selection of artistic skills and adequate adaptation of various forms of artistic expression. Cognitive targets: Greatest possible level of artistic and humanistic self-awareness based on individual knowledge of connections between their own artistic practice and its social influence. Technological knowledge within subject area and its skilful practical application. Social targets: Comprehension of necessity for permanent progress. Adequate reaction for social, environment impulses and standing up for true. Ability to coexist and cooperate within group with respect and tolerance for other attitudes. Respect for the academic and professional rules. Ability to self-esteem and verbal defense of advanced thesis. |

Classes encourage students to gain new skills and develop these already acquired, to cross the border of fear of the unknown. They provoke to take the risk and start individual search in the area of drawing, in the broad sense of the term. By facing new challenges, students develop their creativity and independence. They face the necessity to defend their projects. They widen their artistic awareness and interpret drawing as an autonomic mean of expression. Drawing is not interpreted as a collection of abilities or skills. Classes in the studio are going to convince that only the wise use of these skills is truly evolving.

Students accomplish their individual projects regularly consulted at the studio. During specially organized exhibition meetings, chosen students have an opportunity to present their works to the guests (other teachers, critics, curators of art exhibitions, students from other studios) and to listen to their opinions. Studio is a place where students can freely share their thoughts, without making a decision, who is right and who is wrong. |
