Basic evaluation criteria
Acceptance of idea phase, completion of tasks on time, appropriateness of plastic value, correctness of technical level.
Elevated level of criteria
Active development of idea phase in workshop, modifications, solving problems during discussions, originality, high level of plastic value, completing all tasks on time.
The main objective is to interpret the meaning of art corresponding with cultural landscape
and to develop the ability to use various means of expression from different fields of art.
Goals of visual arts education include developing areas of knowledge and series of activities by making art,
by responding to and making judgments about the properties and qualities that exist in visual forms (art criticism),
by understanding the nature, meaning and value of art (aesthetics).
Keywords: pictorial composition, open vs. closed composition, static vs. dynamic elements,
dominant, rhythm, accent, light, relief (rilievo), three-dimensional structure, harmony in space,
line, value - intensity, shapes, forms, space, texture, color, balance, contrast.

Static, geometrical composition of valor, balanced with accent
Building a balanced composition of different zones of value: gray, black and white, using contrast, geometric form as an accent.
Aim: to develop sensibility to valor balance
Monochromatic color composition with a relief element in contrast scale
Sensibility to color, value, proportion of forms, harmony and self-criticism.
Monochromatic composition “in whites” and "in black" with an element of contrast
Sensibility to contrast and value corresponding with a reduced scale of color.. Use of texture and convexity.
Composition of unrestricted visual character and form
A. Interpretation of musical piece in a freely chosen form
Aim: to find a way to interpret imaginative world in visual form, using means of artistic expression to show the mood, tone,
vibrations and rhythm of music
B.The proverb or dictum “translated” into plastic language
Aim: to apply the language of abstract art that could represent not only abstract idea, but also express a non-abstract concept in an abstract form.
