Criteria for theassessment of3

A basic knowledge of the terminology and the knowledge of the history of the architecture (the historical building/construction techniques) and urban planning; diagnosis of major styles (with identification of periodization) and the most important works and artists; knowledge of the basic assumptions of the ideological and socio-cultural context. A basic ability to describe the building or the urban planning: a plan, solid facades. Knowledge ofthe basic objective literature.

A good knowledge of the terminology in the field of architecture and urban planning, a basic knowledge of the terms of art. Identification of the ancient building techniques. Diagnosis of styles with periodization; pointing the main regional differences, good recognition of the architectural works and the urban planning as well as their creators. Ability to connect the most important historical and social events with the development of architecture and urban planning. Ability to describe the plan, solid, facades and architectural and decorative elements.

A good knowledge of the objective literature.

A very good knowledge of the terminology in the field of fine arts, architecture and urban planning, the ability to communicate freely with the professional vocabulary in the description of the architecture and the urban planning. A very good recognition of the art styles, works and their creators with periodization; explanation of the ideas that shape individual formal periods; identification and explanation of the regional differences. The ability to combine the knowledge of the history, culture and history of the architecture. Ability of the detailed description and the analysis of the architecture object and the urban planning.

A very good knowledge ofthe objective literature.

Cel poznawczy:

1. Uzyskanie podstawowej wiedzy z zakresu rozwoju architektury i urbanistyki kręgu europejskiego z wybranymi przykładami pozaeuropejskimi (terminologia, zjawiska, dzieła, twórcy, periodyzacja), w kontekście historycznym i społeczno-kulturowym oraz politycznym.

2. Uzyskanie podstawowej wiedzy na temat dawnych technik budowlanych i ich wpływu na formę oraz rozwój budownictwa.

Cel kształcący:

1.Wykształcenie zdolności analizy zjawisk architektonicznych na tle społeczno-kulturowym, historyczno-politycznym, w odniesieniu do współczesności.

2. Umiejętność identyfikacji stylów i nurtów architektonicznych, dostrzeganie powiązań; umiejętność podstawowego opisu budynku (z identyfikacją jego elementów) oraz założenia urbanistycznego za pomocą fachowej terminologii/ Cel praktyczny:

1. Umiejętność formułowania problemów badawczych z zakresu architektury w kontekście pracy architekta wnętrz.

2. Świadomość potrzeby zdobywania informacji z zakresu sztuk plastycznych i kultury w celu podwyższenia poziomu własnego warsztatu twórczego.

3. Wykształcenie postawy szacunku dla zabytków architektury i urbanistyki oraz świadomości znaczenia ich zachowania dla rozwoju kultury.

1. Explanation of basic terms relating to architecture, construction, urban, style. An outline of the history of architecture issues (the socio-political-economic background of development of architecture; geographical conditions; architecture and construction, architectural elements and how they are created, historic building techniques and their impact on the form).

2-4 Basic knowledge of the historical construction techniques; the development of the formal elements and architectural details in a historical context with reference to the present day (foundations/ walls / props and their components, roof structures and roofing/ceilings; windows and doors; flooring; historical buildings materials).
