subject description

In the diploma semester, the student receives the subject of the Bachelor's thesis, which includes a design issue from the area of cultural space architecture. The Bachelor's thesis consists of two parts: the project and written paper. The student defines types of goals of his/her work, i. e. what will be its theoretical (cognitive) and practical purpose (it aims at determining the usefulness of a given method, i. e. at developing design solutions). The work on the diploma begins with the preparation of pre-project materials related to the subject of the paper, ending with the establishment of detailed programme assumptions and their implementation. The bachelor's project includes the design concept of the whole project, a detailed design of a selected part of the conceptual design together with the technical details, and an analysis of the passivity of the designed buildings.

Graduate uses imagination, intuition, emotionality and ability of creative thinking in order to properly solve the situation of man in the space of created creation.

PK-K01, PK-K05 (A1-K01, A1-K03)

The student consciously combines intuition and creative expression with the ability to shape design solutions in constructing landscape elements.

PK-U02, PK-U07 (A1-U14, A1-U19)

The student has basic knowledge about the correct realization of the design process from conceptual assumptions through documentation to the realization of the work, having individual features.

PK-W07, PK-W10 (A1-W10, A1-W12)
