The conditions for getting a credit are active participation in lectures, classes, workshops as well as the students' presence. The student is entitled to three absences. It is student's own responsibility to make up for the knowledge and skills missed due to his/her absenteeism.
Minimum requirements for a C Grade
Skills and knowledge from the 1st cycle studies and the fulfillment of the above mentioned elements on the level qualifying students for public presentation at the overview or exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.

Correct designing solutions fulfilling preliminary assumptions. A sound knowledge of methodology of designing and work organization, analytical skills, ability to carry out analyses, creating schedules, preparing correct documentation in the area of hand and technical drawing, 3D visualization, necessary for preparing on their basis workshop documentation, as well as conducting preliminary research, required for market recognition. The ability to resolve designing tasks satisfactorily.

Above average designing solutions fulfilling assumptions and expectations of the end-user. The ability to conduct preparatory work in the area of product specification and designing. Aptitude for analytical thinking and formulating thought in speech and writing. The ability to coordinate work of a team of designers and being able to motivate them. The knowledge and skills allowing team members to present their work before external entities . Designing solutions contributing to sustainable development fulfilling the expectations of the persons and social groups excluded from communities due to lack of satisfactory designing solutions.
The knowledge acquired during studies should facilitate the fulfillment of their own plans be it of the designing, artistic or social character. It will be important to introduce students to notions connected with product development management beginning with identification and definition of need, through organization of the process of design, to sales. It will be essential to develop the skill of utilizing tools which will facilitate conducting the research helping to define the real needs and expectations of the end user or to formulate directives towards companies doing such research. Development of team-building skills and the ability to coordinate the activities of teams of designers, communication with the specialists of other professions and constructive collaboration with these, based on trust and tolerance. One of the elements of education will be the ability to identify and define the individual and group needs, which due to the scale as well as the financial potential have so far been beyond the area of interest of mass producing concerns. It will be essential to teach students the ability to draw on tradition and culture of a region or the country, structural analysis of objects and phenomena constituting material culture and creative interpretation of those. One cannot underestimate the need for conditioning the student to ask difficult or awkward questions, making judgments based on analyzed materials or contributing to discussions. It will be crucial to develop the ability to formulate one's own assumptions, the ability to wonder, to discover new solutions and avenues of exploration which will form the basis for further education and development.

The component elements of grading particular exercises :
The prototype of the solution, documentation on two boards A2 size, showing the process of designing, parts of executory documentation (technical drawings) and photographs of the final solution. One constituent of the presentation on boards is a concise description of the essence of the solution and its characteristic features. The student is obliged to attach a file with components of work: analyses, sketches, notes, and photos from trials. The boards to be submitted in digital form on a CD in the resolution fit for printing and screen resolution together with the previously approved content for the studio’s website.
